Make PAN CARD free

If you have an Aadhaar card and you have not yet made a PAN card, then you can take advantage of this new facility. This is a completely free facility. You have to apply for PAN card from income tax website. You will only need to enter a 12-digit Aadhaar number to apply for e-PAN. After this you will receive an OTP on the mobile number. With entering this OTP, you will get an enrollment number.  

Step-by-step process to apply for PAN Card 

1. Log on to the e-filing website of the Income Tax Department.

2. Click on 'Instant PAN through Aadhaar'.

3. After this, click on the link of 'Get New PAN'.

4. Now enter your Aadhaar number and confirm by entering captcha code.

5. You will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number.

6. Submit the form by entering OTP in the text box.

7. After this an enrollment number will be generated.

After the PAN card is allotted, you will get the option to download and print it. You will also get a PDF of the PAN card on the registered email id. Give your Date of birth to open the file.
